H3 Matchmaking

Out of curiousity how many ppl enjoyed the matchmaking system in halo2.

it was a nice change but it made things kinda complicated. I knoow they wont change it but how many ppl prefer to find their own matches or the matchmaking system.

Personally i like being able to find my own matches (Like in GoW) because u can customized exactly what u want in a game and have ppl join in it. people dont quit as much because its the exact kinda game they were looking for. u could just search for the gametypes that look the most appealing.

(a problem with it though is Halo2 was soo huge that theird be lists of lists of lists of different games/ Customs.) so it might not work for halo3.

But in Matchmaking u find the crazy ppl who just wanna fuck w/ ya somehow
(teamkilling, Suicdal, or cheater.)

what do u think is a better way to go?

I say that they keep the regular MM. in GoW's ranked games i didnt like the find your own games. some good people could have very bad connections and no one would play with them so they couldnt rank up.

It all really depends on how big the game is. If it's as large as Halo is, it should be in hoppers, rather than individual matches. In smaller games like GoW however, listing individual games helps narrow people down so you don't run into a-holes constantly.

I would like it like GOW except microsoft host the server of something because having host in Gears can make a big difference in the game.
