Looking to make a Team..

Hey guys whats going on. I know some of ya through my past being a member of Outcast Reborn and some of ya i have no clue who you are, but one thing i know seeing that you are part of this clan is that you are pretty good and dedicated....So i am planning on taking a team to every MLG Event next year... I want to start playing together and most def get together for lans and scrims...and we would be playing in the online tourneys through either MLG or even Gamebattles...to just get some playing time in and to work out the kinks... Also it would really help if you were in the Southern California area...allowing us to meet up for lans and to just hang out...you know that teams are built around Chemistry...so there better friends we are the better we will work together. So if there is anyone that is interested in being apart of this please let me know..ok Thanks Alot Guys...

Dude, I don't know about a team, but I'd like to play more with a set group of people. I never really had that except for iLL, and he doesn't play anymore.

Haha, so basically, I can't guarantee a team, but I'll play online more if you want.

Btw, there still is going to be more MLG next year for Halo 2 once Halo 3 comes out?

I've been trying to find a shadow to play with ever since c stopped playing, even if you go into ANY gametype with the same person over and over again eventually you can work as a 2 man wrecking team no matter what playlist you're playing.

I might try to go to events for H3 if I can get a solid team together that the same 3 teammates can afford every outing. I can afford it I think it is going to be more of a teammate issue. Anyway time will tell but I was doing damn good at the Beta.

yeah i def know what most of you are saying...ITs a Teammate issue...and i have had the same problems in the past..thats why i am trying to start a team right now..and just work out all the kinks that we have and be ready to compete at the pro lvl by next year...and i am dead serious...i think with a good solid four maybe even more could do great in the MLG events...but we have to work together...and know where we need to be and every...have the strats down and just flow..no miscommunication or anything...so thats why i am starting this soo soon...and i should have my live up and running around friday or so....

hope you get it up and running. I would be on your team but right now im entering into the MLG Pro online tourney with Trojan and the team might just stay together based on the performance we have in this tournament.

yeah no prob man..good luck with the tourney..i have played against all the guys on your team..they are pretty good...but if things work out and you guys stay together we could work out days to where we can scrimmage each other and work on strats and try to help each other out...

I would do it, it's just the matter of if I can go. Money really isn't the issue I just have to be good and get good grades. But after the '07 season is over there is like a 4 month practice period so that is plenty of time to improve myself.

yeah def Thryx..i know what you mean...but as soon as i get my live up and i am going to start requesting the tags of people that are interested...that way we can play some scrims..i would love for there to be like six or eight people..that way we can just swich people and see how we play together..

Yeah that'd be awesome if we had 8 people we could go with 2 teams lol.

Or have 4 coaches if that's possible, but I don't think it is.

If anything, we could start to play Halo 2 together and upgrade to Halo 3. That way we would have a head start in the way we play from Halo 2, because it'll just come naturally with all the chemistry and all, then from there we'll have that chemistry through Halo 3.

yeah prob..but with all the new stuff they are bringing into the game it will be different...kinda more strat... But one thing i didn't really see in the beta was much of team work.... i dunno if it was just the games i played..but i never heard anyone communicating or anything...so we will see when the game comes out

I knew people with symbols in multiple playlists that did really bad in the beta :o

I've always wanted to get some cross-grenades (simple, my grenade helps you and yours helps me, but its done simultaneously and off walls with crazy ricotches, good example is in zanzibar base but its to long to type)

and radar teamwork (Im on the left side of a door you go near me to fool them into thinking you are me then they come in and get hit unexpectedly by me and you, and one of us comes from an angle they werent expecting)
Thats really some good stuff and can be transfered into H3. Generally thinking on the fly and "hoping" your team catches onto what you're trying to do can really work well. The best H3 player I played with was disgusting at punishing you if you lowered his shields and followed...you'd either walk into a trap, grenade ricotched off the friggin roof or would walk in and he would get first shot because he used radar /crouching to make it look like he was somewhere else.

yeah def understand what you are talking about...and i feel that if our team works well in halo 3 that we will be able to do alot of damage...

Yeah that's true. When I played the beta I felt very little difference between the two.

update on the Sponsors:

Talked to some local game stores and they are going to help me out atleast....prob just donate some money and i will put it straight in the team pot...

Hopefully i can find some actual sponsors that are interested and we will be able to take the hole team free of cost to the players...

man i wish i could get some sponsors for trojans, and my MLG team but i know that no one will sponsor people that are spread apart and havent won any tournaments lately. you ahve to show them how good you and your team are first over here witht he game shops but most likely they wont look at your footage...

what im trying to say here is that you have to prove to them that you are good enough to get sponsered and around here they only sponser local teams. ill try again for my team to go to chicago and/or orlando. ill just need a little bit of help.

yeah def i know what you mean man..thats why at first i have just been talking about the first tourney...they are holding one in the shop for a FFA...and i am just going in there and just going to beat everyone...and afterwards...the shop owner is holding a lil 4v4 at his house...so he can see how dedicated i am to the game and everything..hes a cool guy and all..so he is just trying to help me out..
