  1. Well Congrats! I'm sure things will work out, new experience are usually pretty nervous. Let us know how it goes!
  2. My reasoning is that if you're going to risk other people's life for being stupid then you deserve some public ridicule.
  3. Here's to love for the glove!

  4. Wait I want to join the Michigan party

  5. Michiganders FTW! Woot!

  6. Thanks it was great playing with you guys too. I enjoy it more and more. Shoot alright OcR I'll remember
  7. Man last night was one of the biggest groups I've played with probably ever. Had around 12-16 people at any one time and it as a mix of OCR members, recruits, and others. It was really fun and I got some hands on training with the BR lol. Went negative for most( probably all) of the games but I never got frustrated and I just enjoyed it. Been learning a lot playing with everyone and its had a very noticeable effect on my game. I'm also getting familiar with GB or BTB.net settings where the enemy doesn't show up on radar. Forces me to look around a lot more and to be more aware overall. So thanks, I'm sure with the people we have here no one person will take the credit for it Just downloaded Gimp and I am in the process of learning how to make signatures. The layers were confusing at first but once I figured out how to navigate them it came much easier. Below is my first try after a lot of tinkering. I know it isn't flashy or even good really lol. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. <p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2013_01/5873efdd2756b_forumsignature.jpg.d68b1ecd904a2ba7a34424ff25efd77f.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="2" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2013_01/5873efdd2756b_forumsignature.jpg.d68b1ecd904a2ba7a34424ff25efd77f.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>
  8. Hang in there
  9. NAT

Linksys from what I understand are usually pretty good and reliable. Like I said I never had any problems although recently our internet was just upgraded so maybe that had something to do with it? Last couple days since I posted this though its stayed open so I think its fixed. I opened the ports for the Xbox, enabled upnp, and did the dmz thing.
  10. NAT

Hmm I'll have to check next time I get on. I thought I had a good router, never really had problems with it before Halo. It's a WRT 54g I think. Oh well thanks for responding and for the advice I appreciate it.
  11. Well I've been having a bit of a problem with joining a couple people in matchmaking due to the whole NAT issue. Thought I fixed it yesterday by port forwarding but today it seems like everything I did was for nothing. Worked for a day and then it said it was set back to moderate. Think I fixed it at least temporarily. Halo has been the only game where I have had any problems with NAT. COD has always worked well for me without any major issues. Knowing my luck though my router will become self-aware and start repeating lines from 2001: A Space Odyssey. Here's hoping.
  12. First post just trying to get more active on the site and figure out how everything works. Had a pretty good Christmas this year, family didn't strangle each other so that's all you can ask for. Sometimes I'm glad it's only once a year because I don't know if my sanity could handle it. Especially hard to keep my tongue when older family members start talking about their old prejudices or use language that is frowned upon today. If anyone knows anything about law enforcement give me some insight into this: If police do an illegal search of your vehicle everything that was found gets thrown out as evidence right? All charges pertaining to that search should be gone or am I oversimplifying it? I thought that was the case at least in the States.
